The Southern New Hampshire Apple Core (SNAC) is a not-for-profit, dues supported organization, with membership open to anyone wishing to participate in our interest in the use and enjoyment of Apple Computers and other Apple devices.
Monthly meetings are informal and include presentations or demos on a wide range of Apple related hardware and software products. Time is given during every meeting to discuss user problems and questions, share ideas and get help from more knowledgeable members in the group. The meetings are usually held at 7-9 p.m. on the last Wednesday of the month downstairs at the Nashua Public Library, 2 Court Street, Nashua, NH. Visitors are always welcome!
Annual membership dues are $20 a year prepaid, which allows one vote in club affairs and participation by a member's family.
SNAC is not an organ of, or agent for, Apple Inc.
Programs and Benefits
SNAC is a member of the Apple User Group Connection which provides us with the most up to date information on our favorite computers direct from Apple.
Our monthly newsletter, SNAC TIME, features computing tutorials, software reviews, troubleshooting tips, club news and editorials. Newsletters are available for download by clicking here or on the Newsletter Archive button on any page.
The club maintains an active email discussion forum, ApplePower-NH (hosted by Yahoo Groups), where members can seek advice or help on Apple related issues. The email forum provides an alternate source to get help for members who are unable to attend the monthly meetings or who need more immediate help with a problem. The email discussion forum is also used to communicate club news to members. For information on how to subscribe to the discussion forum, click here or on the Email Discussion List button on the main SNAC web page.
SNAC is a member of the O’Reilly User Group Program. O’Reilly offers free review copies of books to User Groups. UG members are also entitled to a 30% discount on a single title or 35% on two or more O’Reilly, No Starch, Paraglyph, PC Publishing, SitePoint or Syngress titles purchased directly from O’Reilly. For further information, click here or on the O’Reilly UG Program button on the main SNAC web page.
